Concept previewBeta and registration are not open
My Jiran is being built to connect people moving out, people setting up home and neighbours who want to share more of what already exists — useful things, local knowledge and, later, trusted spaces.

Share more. Waste less. Belong locally.
Jiran means neighboursجيران is the Arabic word for neighbours — a name for useful local exchange.Current status
Read the vision and its boundaries. There are no accounts, listings, posts, bookings or beta registration.
Furniture, Home Appliances and Free Sharing are the only first-beta candidate categories, pending separate approval.
These future layers need separate trust, operating, provider, permission and payment gates before they can open.
Three-layer ecosystem
Each layer has its own stage and gate. Describing the vision does not make any layer operational.
A first-beta candidate for people moving out, people setting up home and neighbours passing on furniture, appliances or useful items for free. Not open.
A future information layer for neighbour questions, recommendations, moving tips, lost and found, and community-sourced notices. Planned community by community.
A later layer for trusted spaces, beginning only after right-to-list, permission, provider, operating and payment gates pass.
First-beta scope
Keeping the first scope narrow is intended to make the planned experience easier to understand and operate. These category cards are informational, not live marketplace links.
Future community hub
Planned community by community, this future hub would help neighbours exchange practical local knowledge. No post form, location selector, interaction or data collection is open here.
Future discussions could cover everyday recommendations and practical questions without pretending every answer is authoritative.
A future place for moving tips, lost-and-found updates and knowledge that helps a new neighbour settle in.
Community posts would not be official building or management notices unless they were distinctly verified as such.
Status and roadmap
My Jiran is intended for the UAE, not one neighbourhood only. Rollout would be selected community by selected community, with no launch timing promised.
Planned trust stack
The planned service is for adults aged 18 and over. A planned UAE PASS identity layer would be subject to provider onboarding and approval. Identity is a starting point, not proof of ownership, good conduct or transaction safety, and not a guarantee.
UAE PASS authentication is planned only, subject to onboarding and approval. My Jiran does not authenticate anyone through UAE PASS today.
A future space host would need separate evidence of authority, permissions and applicable operating requirements. Identity alone is not enough.
Report, block, moderation, escalation and support controls must be designed, tested and approved before public participation.
Use a suitable public or common area where practical, protect precise locations and tell someone you trust about a handover.
My Jiran is an independent private concept by J Squared L.L.C-FZ. It is not a UAE government service and does not use a UAE PASS logo.
Good to know
No. This is a concept preview. Public app access, beta registration and a waitlist are not open.
Not yet. This website does not collect beta registrations, create accounts or operate a waitlist.
The planned service territory is the UAE. Availability would be staged community by community rather than opening everywhere at once.
The first scope is limited to furniture, home appliances and free sharing. Other categories are outside the current concept.
No in-app payments or escrow are planned for the first beta. Commission, premium features and monetisation are not open and are not part of the first-beta candidate. Never enter card details through an unexpected link sent by a stranger or an alleged courier.
No. A UAE PASS identity layer is planned subject to provider onboarding and approval. Identity would be the start of a trust stack, not a safety guarantee.
No. Shared spaces are a later gated layer. Right-to-list, permission, provider, operating and payment controls must pass before any listing or booking could open.
My Jiran concept
For now, this website explains the idea. It does not register users, collect listings or provide marketplace access.
